International Urdu Conference 2010 Concluded

The third International Urdu Conference Concluded on last Sunday, December 5, 2010. Various outstanding programs were held in during four Day Event at Art Council Karachi.

The purpose of the Conference was 200^th Death anniversary of Emperor of Urdu Language Mir Taqi Mir and service of Sir Muhammad Iqbal the poet of the East towards Urdu Language.

After the opening session of the conference service of Mir Taqi Mir towards Urdu poetry were discussed with respect to its importance and effects on Urdu Literature.

The International Urdu Mushaira was one of the most interesting programs of the Urdu Conference, in which renowned poets from all over world participated.

Honored guest from various countries including India, United Kingdom, Kenya and Russia presented their thesis work related to Urdu Language and Literature.

During the conference Speakers also shed light on the Global trends and effects of Urdu Language and Urdu Literature. In the conference means to promote Urdu Literature and Urdu Language was also discussed.
