Pakistan as a nation is losing all its identities Pakistan was founded on the name of Islam, One can barely see true religious activities going on in Pakistan. Pakistan second most prominent identity is Urdu language and Urdu is treated so miserably in Pakistan that, I am afraid that Urdu will fade out in next few decades.
Another major issue is, student studying in English medium school are taught more competitive syllabus than students of Urdu medium schools. When the student of Urdu medium Schools goes to Universities where they studies same course which students of English schools are studying, they feel uncomfortable because they are unable to keep up with the teachers and fellow students. This causes students belonging to Urdu medium schools unwillingly quit education entirely.
Now I want to ask higher authorities of Pakistan that who is responsible for this? Those parents who want to give their children higher education but due to financial constraints they are unable give quality education. Why quality education of Pakistan is not for poor, not even for their own citizen? I think it’s the time for our educationist to come forward and propose government to use Urdu as a medium of instruction in educational instructions at least.
