Can Urdu Play a Role in Development of Pakistan?

The successful evolution of Urdu language is the key to the development of Pakistan. Every developed nation of the world is relying on its national language for its consistent development. However, the case of Urdu as the national language of Pakistan is extremely complicated.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah declared Urdu as the national language of Pakistan. It created a lot of resentment and anger among most of the Pakistani. Another mistake was that Urdu was declared the national language of Pakistan in the capital of Bengal, Dhaka.
It proved to be a huge mistake. Eventually East Pakistan was separated to be an independent country, the present day Bangladesh.
However, a large population from many regions of Pakistan still resent Urdu as the national language because they feel that their mother tongues were not given any importance. This is precisely the reason why I have stated that Urdu needs evolution to play a role in the development of Pakistan.
For the evolution, the linguists of different regional languages of Pakistan and of Urdu language must sit together to devise a plan of action. Words and phrases from each of the regional language must be integrated with Urdu. The Urdu movies, dramas, and documentaries should use these words and phrases. The children of the schools should be taught these words and phrases.
If Urdu is evolved, each Pakistani will have at least something to associate with in the Urdu language. This way Urdu will become a platform to bring the Pakistanis together. Unity would lead to development.
