Generally national Language of any country is a major symbol of their culture. But unfortunately in Pakistan the elite society almost feel shame in speaking Urdu Language which is the National Language of Pakistan. It normally trend in the schools like Beacon House, The City School, Roots, Frobel's International, International American School the one who speaks Urdu language is considered to be an Illiterate and Paindo (a person who belongs to rural area), and this is not the fault of children who studying there because at younger ages man does what he see from his surrounding and teaching from their parent and teachers. I consider parents are mainly responsible for this that they haven't made the mind of their children in way that Urdu is our national Language and we should feel proud while speaking Urdu because Urdu Language is our identity.
I am not saying that all level of instruction and official language should be changed to Urdu, as Pakistan is under developing country so to compete the world we have to keep English at educational and official level but at least we Pakistanis should not feel proud while using English because it's not our identity, our Identity is Urdu not English.
Countries like China, Germany and France use the National Language while communicating and they feel proud while speaking their National Language because they know very well the importance National Language.
