Urdu is the language of decency and courtesy


There is no doubt that language has a huge role to play in a culture. Our behaviors and attitudes are influenced by the culture.  Culture is a broad term where there are many factors involved such as norms, attitudes etc.
Language plays its part enormously in a culture; it helps people to communicate with each other effectively and on same frequency. Effective communication breaks down all the complicated barriers and language provides that platform where everyone in the society can communicate effectively.
Languages form the way people see the world and it also provides assistance to define culture of any civilization. There are countries where you will find more than one languages. and it’s obvious that there would be more than one culture. In Pakistan there are different languages spoken in different provinces, every province has its own culture because of that.
When it comes to Urdu language, one gets a touch of decency and courtesy.  It’s a language of literature.  One can find different expressions in Urdu language which is very rare to find in other languages. For instance “you” is the only word available no mater you are calling an elder one or a younger one, mother or father. Instead Urdu has many expressions available like “Tum” is the word that can be used if you are calling someone of your age. “Aap” is the word with is appropriate for the elder ones. The added expressions add value to the Urdu language.
